"I'm going to Adorn MY Bride with the Fear of the Lord"
The night seemed endless. My thoughts were all about the attitudes of people and I'd had a reacurring dream that troubled me greatly. Over the next three months, it increased in frequency until it came every nite. Soon, it began to happen in the daytime, even when I was awake. A dream-vision in the daytime. This was new for me.
I dreamed of the days of the Apostles in the early church. How great demonstrations of the Spirit were done by many of them. A word spoken, a man and a woman dies. great fear comes upon the whole church for days. Such fear that they dared not join the Apostles on Solomon's porch. Different that today, when everyone wants the platform.
I troubled in spirit over this for weeks. Finally, when the vision that was coming daily was it's strongest, I cried out to the Lord that I didn't understand what He was showing me. Suddenly, I heard Him weeping, deep weeping, as He said, "Why won't my bride be intimate with me. Why won't she respond to my presence and intimate heart?" Oh, if you could have heard Him weeping that morning....
He gave me scripture that I had been reading wrong. It is used regularly in teachings of warfare, and is taught wrong. The grammer is taught wrong. The concept is taught wrong. But we continue to teach and teach and teach, for what we hear, that takes seed, produces a harvest. Whether right or wrong. Too proud to be corrected. I won't say more.
In the final moments of His disclosure of the Written Word in it's true form, He made this statement. "Remi, I'm going to adorn MY Bride with the Fear of the Lord!" My body began to tremble, as His words carried the Power and the Fear of the Lord.
I remembered back more than ten years before. During my first year as a Watchman of the Lord. He had told me of the coming day when the Fear of the Lord would be restored back to the Church. I had tasted of the incredible power involved with this. Power that would make even a large, strong, muscular, well built man begin to tremble in his bones at the presence of the Lord!
At that time, He had told me that one day, it would come upon the church through His Apostles and Prophets by revelation and by gifting and by experience and by intimacy with Him. He had given me visionary ability to see how people would act when it was upon them for the work of the ministry. And then He had said a very breath-taking statement to me: "If I would release this now upon the Church, in their power struggles and jealousies, and judgmental attitudes, they would kill one-another with it. They would have that ability. First, they must learn of LOVE! I will send the message of LOVE into the Church. They will experience the Depth of My LOVE, and then they will understand more of the working of the Fear of the Lord. How it must be used with discretion and true humility. It will come to pass."
Later, I heard the story, of a prophet who walked in the Fear of the Lord. At one of his prophetic meetings, two men stood up against him, calling him publicly a false prophet. This Prophet made this statement in defense. "This is how we will know if I am a false prophet. If the two of you are alive when the sun arises in the east tomorrow morning, then I am a false prophet. The report said that one man was dead before the end of the meeting. That he just died. The other died an hour before sunrise. cause of death "unknown".
Another great prophet of God, had a man request the microphone, and publicly told the crowd that the prophet was a false prophet. When he had finished his tirade, the prophet took the microphone. Then he bound the demon that had come to humiliate the servant of the Lord. He commanded the demon to kneel. The man was brought to his knee's by an unseen force. "You will remain there in humiliation until the Servant of the Lord finishes what he was sent here to do." This man was kept on his knee's as the prophet preached his message and brought great physical healings and miracles to the people. Ending his ministry to the people, he turned to the man on the floor, cast the demon out of the man. The man repented for his involvment with the forces of darkness and was reconciled with God and with that prophet.
These two testimonies show the actions of two prophets of God. Both in their rightful ministry. Power was used two different ways. Which is right? Perhaps both. I am not their judge, nor was I present at the time. What would I do? I know this personally, one man is alive today because the Spirit let me choose which way it would be. . . Yet he became reprobate in his mind and soul and body. His crime? Falsely accusing this prophet. . .
Are we now at the time of the "Adorning of the Bride"? I believe we are. But oh, Church, will you hold on to the corners of the Altar? It will challenge our minds and hearts. I believe it will challenge our basic belief about Church government. But one thing I do know. It will restore the Apostleship.
