Have you ever wondered how we actually believe? Or, what it really means to actually believe in something or someone? Perhaps then, you've come to the right webpage!

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Sounds so simple... And it is.... well, kind of! The word "believe", actually is a word that has two parts to it.

Part one: to perceive that something is being offered to you. (whether spiritual or natural) Part two: to grasp to yourselves that which is being perceived (to pull into your heart and mind and soul) as an absolute

Now remember, those two parts are only for the one word "believe". If you place that word with it's two parts next to the phrase "you receive" as in the scripture Matt 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive", we begin to have a different picture.

Suppose, when you were praying, asking Father for something, that you actually saw Him giving it to Jesus, the Perfect One. Then, Jesus turns to you, and hands it to you! Now, you have "perceived that it is being offered. But have you grasped to yourself the fact that it is actually being offered to you? If indeed you do grasp to yourself that it is being offered, the you will be able to go to the next part of the verse to "receive" it.
